At approximately 12:40 p.m. on April 29, officers were called to the southbound ramp of I-395 leading to I-95 south, where there was a reported crash that involved a rider being ejected and sent over the barrier and into the water below.
It was determined by investigators that a black Kawasaki motorcycle has been involved in a single-vehicle crash, where the driver was ejected and fell to the water below the ramp.
The Baltimore City Fire Department made a rescue, and was able to recover the motorcyclist, who was rushed to an area hospital and later died from the injuries.
It remains under investigation.
Witnesses to the crash have been asked to contact MDTA Police investigators by calling (410) 537-1209.
